The 'Black Widow' trains
The Government Operations Division (GovOps) of MDRail is a specialized unit providing Nationwide priority rail service for government and military assets. The current GovOps contract is with the Department of Defense with sub-contracts awarded by the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
GovOps trains move a variety of assets including coal, petroleum, vehicles, electronic components, weapons systems & components, and classified items.
GovOps schedules are not published due to their sensative nature. GovOps trains are currently in service on the entire eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida, and have exclusive run-through rights throughout the United States.
